Woodend Country Childcare offers care from 3 months to 5 years old with a further option of holiday club up-to the age of 6 years old.
Because the childcare I offer is is within my home, but ran like a nursery, I believe children are offered unique childcare, with free flow allowing opportunity for children to interact with children both older and younger. However we also offer areas suited to individual ages – offering stimulating age appropriate resources and apparatus, alongside specific care and learning for our three age groups.
All babies and Children are also well supported by adult led activities according to their age and stage of development following the child's interests the key worker will implement these daily. Children learn through all their senses through taste, touch, vision, hearing and smelling. They will watch those around them and copy language and behaviour.
We have a great emphasis on outdoor learning and physical development .
Our outdoors is amazing with large garden full of wonderful learning areas woods, fields, birds and animals.
It truly is a wonderful place to start your child's journey.

They also have beautiful woodland walks in triple pushchairs.
Spotting birds and touching leaves. Or a teddy bear picnic in the fields.

Our toddlers are fully supported during transition periods, when moving from baby bunnies to Little Lambs.
They all love joining in dancing activities like yoga and pilates, which we implement in our routine each day to encourage children to keep fit and eat healthy.
We love our baking activities and being little chefs, making a variety of healthy snacks.
We also like being outside exploring the garden and the fun, exciting areas we especially love experimenting in the mud kitchen.

On Pre-school we support and encouraged our children to be independent. Each day we have helpers to lay the table for meal times, promoting British values through out.
